Breaking News (5/12/2010)

"Take Me" is in the closing credits of a new movie just released directly to DVD by Lion's Gate, called "Cold Storage". Thanks to my buddy David Helpling, who did a most awesome score for the movie itself, for placement!

original music

This site originally started as a way to promote my music. Hard to believe it's been about TEN YEARS now since No Stone Unturned was finished, and I haven't completed album #2. One might be convinced I'd thrown in the towel by now...but I'm STILL writing, still recording and occasionally playing out in local SD, and have enough material now for at least two, probably three more albums (some of them being Rock albums, some more instrumental-based.) So...check out some original tunes o' mine, buy my first album from CDBaby, find lyrics, follow links to other local SD Artists...and come to a show sometime.

web/database development

It may not be apparent, but I'm also a web and database developer, specializing mostly in Microsoft technologies. In fact, I think the fact that I do these things for a living makes me LESS interested in my own website...the last thing I think about when I get home is doing MORE programming, hence my infrequent updates. However, I've been in the I.T. biz professionally for over 8 years now. So I've decided to start posting some tips and tricks for fellow developers...but mostly for myself.

blogs

There's more to be said about most things than can be articulated in a song. In the spirit of sharing (and moreover, venting), herein are my unqualified opinions about anything and everything that comes to mind. You'll find links to other sites, mostly non-musical ones...usually sites that are a bit "challenging" to the everyday wisdom. For example; my current fave, though you may think me odd for saying so: lifeaftertheoilcrash.net
